Well, I have over 25 varieties and colours of daylilies in bloom and they are lovely right now. However, I just want to track...!
I hoped this morning to get out early enough with Tank and Blast, into N.Bay for just a couple of short tracks. No luck..already getting too humid and knew it wouldn't work. Instead took Trust in, figured I could just make her happy doing a short one, as part of the plan was also for Kira to go into Cdn. Tire. At least that worked out well, we "did" the store and met a few small kids and it was very worthwhile. She searched on top of, and between things, and had a good time.
Went back to do Trusts' track, was hot and humid so quickly, so just left her collar on and 6' leash and hoped she'd be able to do it quickly. She did, she was great, and a lot in paved parking area, just glad it wasn't blazing sun.
Never had such a long spell of such hot and humid weather with no break. Tough on all of us. Just want to track...
But, unfortunately, a huge thunderstorm went through last night, 'downing' many plants in the garden, and right back to high temperatures and humidity. The large amount of rain was welcome, we badly needed it, but was hoping for a cool down.
